Hani Menü Guide

One QR Code for All Your Business Links in North Cyprus

Updated: 7 min readTürkçe oku

Three QR codes sit side by side on a café counter: one for the menu, one for Instagram, one for Google reviews. Customers don't know which to scan, scan one, and forget the rest. A barber's business card squeezes in a phone number, WhatsApp, Instagram and an address, and none of them opens with a tap. At a hotel reception, the website, directions and the review link each have a card of their own.

A link card gathers all of that behind one QR code. Customers scan once, and all your business links open on their phone as a column of buttons. This guide covers what goes on a link card, which businesses it suits, how to keep it simple and where to put the code.

A link card is a single page that opens on a phone: your logo and business name at the top, a short line underneath, then a set of buttons. Each button goes somewhere: your Instagram profile, a WhatsApp chat, your location on Google Maps, your booking page.

You print the QR code once. When one of your links changes, you update the card, not the code: you fix the button in your panel and the printed code stays the same. The same address works well as the first link on your Instagram profile.

What can go on the card?

ButtonWhat it opensTip
MenuA restaurant's QR menuSits at the top for restaurants
WebsiteYour home page or any page on your siteLeave it empty if you don't have a site
Instagram, Facebook, TikTokYour profileOnly the accounts you actually use
WhatsAppA chat with you; customers don't need your number savedUse a number someone checks during the day
CallA phone callA number that's answered during opening hours
LocationYour business on Google Maps, with directionsUse the link that shows your business by name
BookingsPhone, WhatsApp or your booking pageBarbers, salons and clinics can label it for appointments
Google reviewsThe screen for writing a review of your businessGet the link from your Google Business Profile

Any button you leave empty simply doesn't appear. Businesses without a restaurant don't have a menu button; instead, you can put a main button at the top with your own label and link, such as "Price list", "New season" or "Order online".

You copy your Google reviews link from the reviews section of your Business Profile. Google prohibits offering discounts or gifts in exchange for reviews, so use the link as an invitation only.

If many of your customers are visitors, note that the card comes in Turkish to start with. Once you switch on English in your panel, it opens in Turkish or English depending on the language of the visitor's phone. Button labels such as "Location", "Call" and "Bookings" are translated automatically; you write the title and the short line in both languages yourself. A restaurant's card opens in the languages of its menu.

Keep the card simple

  • Make the main button what customers look for most: for a restaurant that's the menu; for other businesses, you choose the main button's label and link.
  • Fewer buttons, quicker choices: leave out the accounts you don't use. A Facebook page that hasn't been touched in five years weakens the card.
  • Test every link: on your own phone, with Wi-Fi off, tap every button one by one. A misspelt Instagram handle is the weakest point of any card.
  • Think about the season: if you close for winter, remove the bookings button and put your reopening date in the short line.

Both keep your content up to date without reprinting the code, but they do different jobs:

You can use both: a link card on the counter and your business cards, and a dynamic code on the window poster that goes straight to the promotion. Our guide to dynamic QR codes in North Cyprus explains the difference in detail.

Where to put the code

  • Counter and till: when customers pay, their phone is usually already in their hand.
  • Bill folder: a good moment to invite a happy guest to follow you or leave a review. Keep the menu QR code on the table where it is, and label this one clearly so the two don't get mixed up.
  • Business card: one code and the words "All our links" instead of a cramped list of numbers, addresses and handles. See our guide to QR code business cards for size and content.
  • Takeaway bags, shopping bags and receipts: for reviews and Instagram once the order is opened at home.
  • Door and shop window: so passers-by can message you on WhatsApp or save directions when you're closed.
  • Hotel room and reception: guests message reception from the same card throughout their stay and leave a review when they check out.

Wherever you put it, say what it opens: "Follow us, leave a review, get directions". For size, contrast and margins, see our QR code printing guide (in Turkish). On Hani Menü you can download the card's QR code in colour, in black, or as an SVG that stays sharp at any size.

What's collected from visitors?

No personal data. A Hani Menü link card has no forms, no cookies and no ad trackers, and no personal data is collected from the people who open it. The card page isn't listed in Google search results; it's meant to be opened from your QR code and from the links you share. The card's address is permanent, so you only print the code once. The details are in our privacy policy (in Turkish).

Checklist

  1. The card shows only the links you use.
  2. The main button is what customers look for most.
  3. The WhatsApp number is one that someone checks.
  4. The Google reviews link comes from your Business Profile and has been tested on a phone.
  5. If you've switched on English, the title and short line are written in both languages.
  6. The code says what it opens; one copy has been printed and tested with two different phones.

The Hani Menü link card is a product in its own right, so businesses without a restaurant can use it too: cafés, barbers, boutiques, clinics, hotels, estate agents. We open your account and apply your logo and brand colours; you write the links in your panel. If your restaurant is already on Hani Menü, you can add the card to your menu plan, and if your order summary says "Bağlantı kartı: pakete dahil" (link card included), the card stays free on your plan.

Current monthly and yearly prices (VAT not included) are on our link card page (in Turkish), where you can also request a quote.

Frequently asked questions

I don't run a restaurant. Can I still get a link card?

Yes. The Hani Menü link card is a separate product and works without a menu, whether you run a café, a barber's, a boutique, a clinic, a hotel or an estate agency.

Who changes the links?

You do. Whatever you type in your panel appears on the card straight away, and any button you leave empty doesn't appear. The card's address never changes, so there's no need to reprint the QR code.

Does the card open in Turkish and English?

Yes, once you switch on English in your panel. The card comes in Turkish to start with; with English switched on, it opens in Turkish or English depending on the language of the visitor's phone. Button labels are translated automatically, and you write the title and the short line in both languages. A restaurant's card opens in the languages of its menu.

Is any information collected from people who open the card?

No. The card has no forms, no cookies and no ad trackers, and no personal data is collected from visitors.

What's the difference between a link card and a dynamic QR code?

A link card opens a page with several buttons. A dynamic QR code goes straight to a single address, which you can change at any time. A link card suits the counter and business cards; a dynamic code suits promotion posters and leaflets.
